Floorplan drawing of redesigned office

After we redesigned an office space for the charity MIND in Hackney, they came back to us soon after to redesign a second, larger office space in Hoxton.

The brief included open plan seating for 22 desks along with two offices, one large meeting room and five consultation rooms. They also wanted the reception divided from the staff area, but with the option to open these into one larger space.

Shop Front and New Flat Above, Surbiton

Drawing of street scene elevation

This project involved converting the office above a shop into a one bedroom flat by extending the first floor both to the rear (over the shop) and side (over the alley, supported on columns). The client also wanted to extend the shopfront forwards. By making this site mixed use, we are maximising its potential to remain as a viable commercial unit while also providing much needed new housing.
